Incident that fundamentally changed my life

My journey from being a student from a rural region to being one of the university toppers taught me what can’t be learned from the books. Changing the medium of instruction from Hindi to English during my high school, it was a challenging situation for me to cope up with the environment, and the culture of the school. I faced difficulties while studying and wasn’t able to cope up with the education pattern as their teaching methodology was different more based on technology and case studies. So, I was struggling with both academics and my extra circular pursuits. I realized the need to identify my problems, opportunities, and started working on them. To overcome these challenges, I started reaching out to my friends and teachers for help. Being proactive I took extra efforts to overcome it. I started working 3-4 hours extra every day on the language and academics. As a result, I went from a student who was lost in the 11th standard to winning the best student award in the 12th standard. Consistency and hard work are the two things that helped me in identifying as a person who I am. The values that I learned in my childhood are the ones that helped me overcome this challenge. I also learned the value of hard work and commitment. I believe that the ability to work hard against the tides and facing the challenges is what matters to me the most and I consider this trait to be the driver behind my future success. This is one incident that changed my perspective towards things and made me help others who are struggling, overcome their challenge.
Being consistent and working hard for the aim to achieve the values I gained throughout my high school, helped me in achieving 2nd rank in the class among the 250 students. Also being a class representative, I helped the students who faced problems in academics. I was able to relate to their struggles as I was in their shoes a few years ago. During my graduation, I decided to holistically develop myself and hence I used to participate in every opportunity that knocked in front of me in the form of organizing an event, activities, and executing clubs in the college.
I have been a consistent and hardworking goal-oriented person in the past. I want to replicate the same in the future and I believe this is the mantra to expand my jewelry business into different sectors operate beyond national boundaries.
